This family. I just love them. I think you can see why from just a handful of photos from their session.
I had recently done some family photos for one pod of this great family when Bethanie reached out to me and asked if we could do a last-minute session with the whole family to surprise her mother-in-law for her birthday. Her brother-in-law would be visiting from California and her sister-in-law would be in town from Madison to help host a surprise party the day before. It was such an easy YES!
Our entire time together was filled with meaning...meeting grandchildren for the first time and the smiles they gave, soothing babies to sleep on Grandpa's tractor like he's done with all of the kids, getting photos taken under the arbor where you were married, having your first family session as parents in the backyard where you grew up...every single bit of it made my heart swell.
