Frequently asked questions
How do we book with you?
Once we decide we're a good fit, booking is easy peasy! You'll simply fill out some paperwork online and pay a 50% installment of the collection you choose to hold your date. We'll discuss whether you'd like an engagement session (which I highly recommend!) and will determine the best time to book that session as well.
Do you travel for weddings outside of Wisconsin?
This is a big, fat YES! I LOVE to travel! We would simply have to work together on figuring out travel costs/accommodation fees and we would discuss how those would be added into the final investment. It'd be super simple and the answer for a road trip is always yes. :)
Do we have to have an engagement session?
You definitely don't have to schedule engagement photos, but I highly recommend it! This is a session where you and your partner can be more relaxed and playful, allowing you to get used to having me behind the camera, my prompting and posing, etc. It's also a time where you can let your true personalities shine. Do you have a pet you'd want to include in your photos? A hobby you do together that you want to highlight? A favorite place you want to document in photos together? An engagement session is a perfect time to capture what makes you YOU. These sessions are typically an hour long and we get some beautiful shots you can use for Save the Dates or even just for some more casual prints to hang in your home.
How long does it take to receive our final gallery?
I typically have previews of your wedding either that day or the next - I just get too excited not to share! Full galleries are finished and delivered to you within 4-6 weeks after your wedding date. I am always a big communicator so you'll know exactly what's going on and what you can expect while waiting for your gallery. Galleries will be delivered online with both color and black-and-white options available for every photo.
